Set sail from the marina in La Rochelle (Les Minimes / Vieux Port). Meet your captain, receive a safety briefing, and head out to sea. Cross over to Île de Ré and dock at the historic port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Enjoy an evening bike ride along salt marshes followed by a dinner of fresh seafood right on the harbor.
A morning sail along the northern coast of Île de Ré past the recognizable black-and-white Ars-en-Ré Lighthouse. Head out into the open ocean and chart a course south toward Île d’Oléron. Experience the raw power of Atlantic waves, authentic blue-water sailing, and a breathtaking sunset while anchored.
Round the scenic island of Île d’Oléron. Behold the majestic Phare de Chassiron on the northern tip of the island—a place of incredible natural energy where the ocean crashes against rocky plateaus. Anchor near local oyster farms to indulge in a tasting of famous Marennes-Oléron oysters served right on board.
Head east toward history. The yacht sails right up to the monumental stone walls of Fort Boyard—providing an exclusive vantage point only accessible from the water. Next, cross over and anchor off the serene island of Île-d’Aix, where cars are banned. Enjoy lunch, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and evening relaxation under the stars.
Enjoy breakfast on deck with views of Île-d’Aix. Make the final sea crossing through the sound back to the shores of La Rochelle. Around 16:00–17:00, dock back in the Vieux Port framed by the city’s iconic medieval towers.
